Story

The Marset Aura draws on our collective memory of glass objects, evoking emotions of other objects with its simple, minimalist aesthetic.

Joan Gaspar has effortlessly integrated modern lighting technology into his design, unobtrusively improving the efficiency of the light without compromising the overall look of the piece. With transparency of the shade creates a luminous effect without being unduly harsh.

Joan Gaspar

Born in 1966, Spanish designer Joan Gaspar studied Industrial Design at the School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona.

The partnership between Gaspar and Spanish lighting brand Marset began in 1996, and since then, he has been developing new products for decades and steering the creative direction of the design firm in new directions.
