Appearing to float gracefully above your living spaces, the Marset Mercer Ceiling Light combines blown glass and textiles to create a striking, ethereal effect. Visionary designer Joan Gaspar has reinvented the traditional form of the ceiling light, using glass to confine the textile shade and putting a contemporary twist on the concept.
Part of a collection containing a table lamp, pendant light, and wall light, the ceiling light can be combined with other pieces to transform the lighting across your whole space. The sophisticated elegance of blown glass exudes a sense of minimalism, ideally suited to a wide variety of different environments.
Born in 1966, Spanish designer Joan Gaspar studied Industrial Design at the School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona.
The partnership between Gaspar and Spanish lighting brand Marset began in 1996, and since then, he has been developing new products for decades and steering the creative direction of the design firm in new directions.
