Worked in blown glass and textile, the Mercer Wall Light appears to float ethereally above your space. The enshrouding glass acts as both a diffuser and supporting structure, putting a contemporary twist on the classic form of the wall light. Developed by Joan Gaspar in collaboration with Marset, the light has a striking elegance that enhances its surroundings.
The duality of the twin elements, transparent glass and tactile fabric add new dimensions of meaning to the piece, repeated across your space by combining other pieces from the Mercer collection to tie your home together with the sophisticated beauty of the blown glass lights.
Born in 1966, Spanish designer Joan Gaspar studied Industrial Design at the School of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona.
The partnership between Gaspar and Spanish lighting brand Marset began in 1996, and since then, he has been developing new products for decades and steering the creative direction of the design firm in new directions.
