Inspired by the humble shelf fungus sprouting from the trunks of trees, the Audo Copenhagen Gridy Fungi Shelves have a striking organic shape. The shelves have rounded contours, generously sized to hold a variety of different objects. Shelves of different sizes can be combined to create harmonious arrangements, allowing you to add verticality and depth to your spaces. With a prominent grain, the wood has a rich texture.
Gridy consists of two product designers, Lars Olav Dybdal and Wilhelm Grieg Teisner. This young and aspiring team from Oslo, Norway is specialized within the working fields of furniture, product and spatial design. Both designers have a bachelor’s degree from the Bergen Academy of Arts and Design. Lars Olav has a master’s degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark and Wilhelm has a master’s degree from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design.
