Jorgen Rasmussen is an Odense-born designer who came of age professionally during the mid-1950s, following an education at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
Alongside his twin brother, Ib, Rasmussen opened a design studio with a focus on single-family houses. The pair found success in designing chairs, with Jorgen going on to create the multi-purpose Kevi office chair, which first went into production in the 1960s, and has since been produced by a range of brands, such is its enduring popularity.
