Featuring a number of compartments, making it well-suited for storing a variety of different types of objects, the Mini Module 1002 is sculpturally significant and highly functional.
A sense of permanence runs through the product, with the modular nature of the piece allowing for additional units to be added at any point, as your needs change, while the ten-year guarantee provides a similar nod towards Lassen’s intended longevity for his design. Available in Montana’s complete range of ten colourways, the Mini Module is wall hung and produced from hard-wearing MDF.
Peter J. Lassen is a Danish designer who, in 1982, founded Montana Furniture.
Following a career in the Navy, Lassen would join the furniture industry via a role at Fritz Hansen, where he would eventually become CEO. Following his dismissal from Fritz Hansen, where his modern ideas were deemed too progressive in the late 1970s, Lassen formed Montana around an innovative 60x60 shelving unit concept, which would go on to form the basis for the company at large. Lassen was one of the most celebrated personalities in the Danish furniture industry until his death in 2019.
