Generously proportioned and impeccably realised, the RIPPLE II Cabinet offers an original and ambitious spin on Lassen’s modular furniture range, around which much of the Montana catalogue revolves.
Featuring a pair of compartments, both of which are partially concealed thanks to the use of character-rich rippled glass, the RIPPLE II is available in a wide range of character-rich colour schemes and is produced to the Danish manufacturer’s exacting standards, which are EU Ecolabel certified and come complete with a ten-year guarantee.
Peter J. Lassen is a Danish designer who, in 1982, founded Montana Furniture.
Following a career in the Navy, Lassen would join the furniture industry via a role at Fritz Hansen, where he would eventually become CEO. Following his dismissal from Fritz Hansen, where his modern ideas were deemed too progressive in the late 1970s, Lassen formed Montana around an innovative 60x60 shelving unit concept, which would go on to form the basis for the company at large. Lassen was one of the most celebrated personalities in the Danish furniture industry until his death in 2019.
