Designed by Dutch duo Kranen/Gille, who look to the contrasting worlds of nature and heavy industry in their creations, the Liberty Table consists of angular shapes and beautiful joints; created from the highest quality American Walnut and Moooi’s legendary craftsmanship. The base, representing branches of a tree, grows upwards and outwards to support the solid Walnut tabletop, with clean lines and bold forms combining to create a sense of nostalgia for the countryside mixed with modern day luxury.
Based in the Netherlands, having both graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2004, Kranen/Gille is a design duo comprised of Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille. The duo produces timeless designs inspired by heavy industry and nature, and have worked closely with brands such as Moooi and Functionals.
