Bertjan Pot is a Dutch industrial designer best known for his work with Moooi. He has also produced goods with the likes of Cassina, Hay and Nike.
Well known for his experimental approach to design, with a focus on deconstructing technical aesthetics and industrial production methods, Bertjan emphasises the place of materials in his work. Pattern, structure and technique all play a major part in the manner in which he tackles an object, with the often playful, and usually unique tone of his work clear throughout every piece he works on. His work is rich with character, and recognisably, distinctively his.
