These Tatami dhurries are made with 50% New Zealand wool and 50% Jute. This combination adds the softness of wool to the structure and brightness of Jute. Available in two striking colourways, these rugs add an extra dimension to your space, using the interplay of warp and weft to create a simple yet effective pattern.
Ariadna Miquel was born in Barcelona in 1979. Graduate in Industrial Design at Elisava, Escola Superior de Disseny where she received an excellent grade in her final year Project and was subsequently awarded the Medalla Adi Fad 2002 (Foment de les Arts i el Disseny).
Through different workshops she participates in various projects for companies, exhibitions and installations. She joined the design team of nanimarquina in 2003 involved in the development of the brand’s collections and those of external collaborators. Her interest in textiles and her curiosity in production techniques allow her to provide innovative textures and at the same time to learn to apply the colour.
