Rabari as a series was created to evoke the sensual and shiny world of tribal folk embroidery of India. Drawing from inspriration found in hand embroidery using glistening mirrors, silk, cotton thread and metallic sequins amongst other non-precious materials - this collection for Nani Marquina makes reference to these techniques and how the designs gradually emerge over time.
