Utilising bold geometric forms, Rise and Shine is a counterbalanced, wall-mounted mirror with a solid brass or steel weight. The pulley function allows the mirror’s height to become adjustable, giving you the freedom to display it exactly as you wish. This striking piece can be used functionally as a mirror but is of such natural elegance that it presents seamlessly as artistic wall decoration.
Rise and Shine is available in a burned oak finish with a steel weight, or natural oak with a brass weight.
Norwegian-born designers Amy Hunting and Oscar Narud joined forces to create London based design studio Hunting & Narud after having worked independently as for several years. They design objects and spaces and are passionate about creating contemporary products that have a strong spatial impact.
With a strong interest in materials and processes, the design studio creates products with a strong sense of craft in a range of different materials.
Amy is a graduate of the Department of Furniture and Spatial Design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (the Danish Design School), where she graduated in 2008, while Oscar attended the Royal College of Art in London, and graduated in 2006 with an MA in Design Products.
