Story
The German design duo KaschKasch were inspired by the cartoon character Calimero, a charming little chicken with an eggshell on its head. It was this eggshell that gave them the idea for the large, semi-circular lampshade. The rounded shape creates a counterbalance to the geometric design.

Kaschkasch was established in 2011 by designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider.
They share a background that combines both hands-on and academic education: both trained as cabinet makers followed by studies in product design. This versatility informs everything Kaschkasch does.
