Flow is a modular LED task lamp with flexible positioning. The Normann Copenhagen Flow table lamp has a simple and flowing design, in which all of the lamp’s parts grow smoothly into each other, just like the branches on a tree. “I was inspired by the idea of creating an LED table lamp that radiates lightness and agility. In Flow, I wanted to create a lamp whose minimal and slender shape expresses the intrinsic quality of being an easy to use lighting object for your desk,” says designer Andreas Kowalewski.
Born in Berlin, Andreas Kowalewski began his career in design with a cabinetmaker apprenticeship, after which he went on to study Industrial Design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Since his graduation in 2006, he has developed products, furniture and lighting for leading design companies. In 2012, Andreas founded his Amsterdam based studio, where he works on various design solutions, covering the overall spectrum of the design process.
