Wu refined her design several times before arriving at the finished object, tackling the challenge of designing something as simple as a stool head-on. The result has a sturdy elegance, shining a spotlight on the striking beauty of the pine wood.
Born amidst the jaw-dropping landscape of the Taiwanese mountains, Yuchen Wu’s fascination with landscapes and organic forms is evident in her design work.
As an in-house designer at Normann Copenhagen, she has further developed her philosophy of harmonious balance between aesthetics and functionality. Her designs are intended to be practical with poetic beauty and grace.
