Constructed from organically curved plywood, available in two muted colourways, the Shaker Basket for Normann Copenhagen utilizes advanced materials and production techniques. Exploring traditional woven baskets of the Shaker movement, used to hold wood chips from workshops that were used in wood stove fires, Studio Gorm have propelled the design to the modern-day. Its pleasant graphical shape, combined with its functionality and simplicity enables it to live anywhere storage is needed, whether utilised for throws, toys, books, magazines and much more.
Studio Gorm is a design studio founded in 2007 by John Arndt and Wonhee Arndt, based in Eugene, Oregon.
