The slender steel frame of the Studio Chair stretches out below its Oak seat and back, framing the moulded shell in an airy design. The flowing lines stand out in an eye-catching silhouette, like a line drawing or a pictogram, just as the empty spaces between the frame and the back act to define the shape. Reminiscent of older French factory chairs, its simple construction attracts attention, but glows with pure simplicity. Ideally utilised around a dining table or in front of a desk, this contemporary seating solution not only provides the utmost comfort but is also practical, easily stored away when not in use due to its stackable design. Partly upholstered in soft to the touch leather, it supplements a warming feel to your home as well as style and charm.

“Honesty is what makes a product understandable, and is what describes functionality of the products. If you understand the product, it doesn’t need any explanation. The essence of my design is for it to be bought and used. Therefore it has to satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological- and aesthetic needs. For me simplicity describes the true identity of objects, and makes them trustworthy. In my designs I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression.”
