The Elephant Lounge Chair from Danish Design brand NORR11 is a light and elegant lounge chair that has an 'Elephant Ear' shaped backrest that gently curves around the body, providing superior comfort. The chair is handcrafted with a solid oak wooden frame, while the seat and backrest are made from the highest quality compression moulded oak veneer in the form of shells.
The two shells are pressed in the same press mould and surround the body in a light soft curve. The legs are designed as one single profile without any visible joints, enriching the experience of the material strength and exchange between the light and heavy dimensions. Upholstered in warming sheepskin, the Elephant Lounge Chair adds a cosy and luxurious addition to any living space, providing years of lasting relaxation.
After years of experience in the fashion industry, Tommy Hyldahl decided to pursue his passion for furniture and interior design and founded NORR11.
Since 2015 Tommy has closely collaborated with Danish furniture designer Kristian Sofus Hansen.
