Every aspect of the design has been carefully considered, with push-to-open doors and bronze glass shelves inside the capacious body. The sideboard’s rounded profile gives it a bold silhouette, enhanced by the rich tactility of the solid oak and oak veneer. The clever use of solid wood for the top allows it to be used to display decorative objects.
Stockholm-based design studio Färg & Blanche was founded in 2010 by the Swedish designer Fredrik Färg and French designer Emma Marga Blanche.
As a studio, they work across a wide variety of fields, collaborating with established Swedish furniture brands such as Gärsnäs, Zero and Design House Stockholm, as well as producing their collections and limited art pieces. Known for their experimental stance, where each expression informs the other, they effortlessly move between the exclusive handmade one-off and the industrially produced, without ever losing their distinctive touch.
