Part of the elegant Blossi collection, the table lamp embodies a minimalist, slender design; adaptable to move around and be positioned in a variety of environments in the home, such as on a desk, windowsill, bed-side table or in a hallway. Defined by a delicate glass shade, an LED disc beautifully reflects the light across the lamp, giving prominence to the beauty of the metal detailing whilst providing soft, indirect light.
Sofie Refer was born in Denmark, 1974. Between 1998 - 2003 she studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation - Institute of Product Design, Glass and Ceramics.
Her designs are based on Scandinavian simplicity combined with an extravagant look. Throughout her professional life she has focused on working with lighting design as she is fascinated by light in all aspects, convinced that lighting is the most important and powerful aspect in all environments.
She creates lighting design with the deepest respect and passion for light. In that process she constantly seeks for new ways to play with and express light, also by using new technology components and light sources.
