Inspired by Chung's Solo bicycle trip around Mount Fromme, he aspired to create a chair with unique character and enduring technical performance. Just like a traditional bicycle seat, the Fromme Outdoor Chair features a set of absorbers that enhances flexibility and provides unrivalled comfort.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Tom Chung is an independent industrial designer who established his eponymous studio in 2016. Forming a unique product design process which combines contemporary culture and local industry, the studio creates context driven industrial design pieces for domestic, institutional and public environments.
