A generous ceramic structure, that is childlike in nature and almost familiar in form, the Neotenic Table Lamp was intentionally designed to trigger emotion and to forge a bond between object and owner. Hand-crafted in Portugal, ceramic artisans have created a complex six-part mould to cast the ceramic lamp base. A lavish hand-blown glass bulb sits upon the ceramic base, that when illuminated, further highlights the curves of the lamp by reflecting off the ceramic surface.
