Antonino Sciortino’s work is characterised by a distinctly sculptural quality, influenced by his time as a professional designer and choreographer. The Serax Kyoto Table Lamp - Wide has a bold, geometric profile, worked in metal to give the whole piece a distinctively industrial air. The hidden bulb casts a pool of soft light, gracefully illuminating your interior spaces, perfect for use in a bedroom or living room space. Also available, the Serax Kyoto Table Lamp - Tall.

Antonino Sciortino was born in Palermo in 1962. At the age of eight, in his father’s shop, he began to forge some small 'soft' iron pieces normally used for binding big iron bars. His passion for dance lead him to Rome where he started his carrier also as a choreographer. During his spare time he kept on designing iron works and now, this is his main activity. Even though he gave up dancing, he is able to express the lightness of dance in his iron works, creating sculptures mixing experiences and emotions. Nowadays he lives and works in Milan.
