Created by the design studio KaschKasch and inspired by the sinuous tubing around local street signs, the Marselis family of table and floor lamps is characterised by a delicate balance of functionality and aesthetics, resulting in innovative modular designs with timeless quality. Designed for Hay, the elegant floor lamp consists of an arched silhouette crafted from die-cast aluminium and robust steel. The gentle light source is implemented from an adjustable tilting disc, enabling the user to create their preferred atmosphere of directional light. Available in soft black or ash grey the lights practical yet versatile design is suitable for residential and corporate settings.
In addition to the Marselis floor lamp, a matching table lamp is also available as part of the series.
Kaschkasch was established in 2011 by designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider.
They share a background that combines both hands-on and academic education: both trained as cabinet makers followed by studies in product design. This versatility informs everything Kaschkasch does.
