Story
An ancient technique created at milder temperatures, low-firing often results in beautifully subtle surface shade and colour variation, meaning every piece is one of kind. The outer surface takes a tactile matt finish with a highly water-resistant gloss interior. Giving insight into Greek - Egyptian tradition, the foot of the vessel takes considered influences from bygone amphora pottery, characterized with a slender wooden handle and highlighted with intricate brass details. Ideally complemented by the Edge Cup, the edge series creates a stylish pairing perfect for sipping hot aromatic tea. Carefully crafted, rustic and practical, the Edge Teapot adds modern elegance to a contemporary kitchen environment.

The Danish design duo Stilleben (formed by Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft) have designed products for internationally recognised design brands such as Georg Jensen, Skagerak and Kähler. As store owners and designers they see it as their first job to constantly create new stories that reflect the time we live in.
Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft are both educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in glass and ceramics.
