While appearing understated on first glance, the Softline Basel Sofa has a rich depth and tactility that creates a striking centrepiece suitable for any living space. The two discrete shapes of the foam-filled seat and backrest are brought together by the use of stitched lines, creating geometric shapes in the fabric upholstery. The backrest works as an integrated armrest, and has a three-dimensional depth that gives the sofa a bold contemporary silhouette.
Now located in Lisbon, Portugal, busk+hertzog was established in Denmark in 2000 by Flemming Busk and Stephan B. Hertzog.
