Jordi Vilardell was born in Barcelona in 1960. He studied Industrial Design at Escola Superior de Disseny i d'Art Llotja. In 1983 he began his professional career in the field of lighting when he joined a lighting company as designer.
Since 1998 he has his own studio in Barcelona, where he diversifies his activity with some works for other industrial sectors, but he maintains his specialty in lighting projects both decorative and technical.
