Designed to accompany the dining table of the same name, the Warm Nordic Be My Guest Bench features a light metal frame that belies its strength, coupled with a french cane seat. Whether paired with a table or used alone, the bench adds extra seating capacity wherever it is placed, the design tapping into classical references with its simple yet gentle curved edges. When not in use, the bench can even be used as an occasional table, housing vases, magazines or any other household items.
Danish designer, Charlotte Høncke, graduated as an Industrial Designer from the Danish School of Architecture in 2002, but soon discovered that furniture design was her passion.
She founded her own studio in Aarhus in 2010. Here, Charlotte designs contemporary furniture, lamps and related products, mainly for the home. She has a special talent for combining functionality and aesthetics with small fascinating details so her design surprises and sparks curiosity.
