This contemporary piece is made from solid oak and features an upholstered middle seat to provide extra comfort. The upholstery is designed to complement the structure and shades of the oak. On one side of the bench, there is a circular-shaped hole which can be utilised in a number of practical ways; holding an umbrella or even a plant pot. The other side of the bench contains a recessed shelf, perfect for storing keys or mail.

The designer behind studio NUR, Maja Bøgh Vindbjerg, takes inspiration from the Nordic traditions. This, along with her understanding of production methods and a knowledge of the challenges and opportunities various materials afford, results in minimalistic and simple solutions in form and level of detail.
