Italian industrial designer Gabriele Rosa was born in 1982 in Rome. In 2008 he set up his own design studio and designed the Calamo Desk for Zanotta. In subsequent years Rosa gained international design awards thanks to his innovative projects, characterized by typological experimentation and sculptural aesthetics. He has worked with some of Italy’s most iconic design companies, such as Alessi, Antoniolupi, Nemo, Pallucco and Teuco.
