Comacina is now produced by Zanotta but was originally design by Piero Bottoni.
Italian architect Piero Bottoni was amongst the protagonists of Italian Rationalism and a founding member of the Milan-based Miar group.
He participated in many of the key architecture and planning competitions of the 1930s, constantly seeking new furniture and decorating solutions, designing items such as the Zanotta 2574 Fenice Dining Table.
