Constructed wholly out of solid wood, Zeitraum’s Curtain Couch Coffee Table has an expansive rectangular top, perfect for use as a centrepiece in any living space. When enclosed by a corner sofa, the large size of the table gives you room to display books, design objects, and ornaments, all while easily accessing drinks and other items.
The defining feature of the table is the eye-catching rippling base, imbued with motion by careful machining and meticulous hand-sanding and polishing. A sense of motion is visible throughout the whole piece, from the precise curves of the base to the calm weightlessness of the tabletop.
LÄUFER & KEICHEL is a creative partnership between Julia Läufer and Marcus Keichel. The pair have been collaborating since 2003 and their design studio is located in the centre of Berlin.
Focusing on sustainable design solutions, they have produced furniture designs for clients including Lammhults, Lapalma, Offecct, Thonet, Zeitraum and others.
