Designed by Jaime Hayon for &Tradition, the Formakami collection brings together East and West to create a modern lighting collection, inspired by traditional Asian paper lanterns. Handcrafted from rice paper and featuring black-stained oak accents, the &Tradition Formakami JH Pendant Light Cluster brings together three different shapes of pendant light to create an eye-catching lighting centrepiece.
Including a JH3, JH4 and JH5 pendant, this cluster is a great way to bring instant impact to a space, whilst also providing a beautiful and diffused glow.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
