With the collection boasting a unique 27-colour palette, referencing the many colour schemes the Land Rover Defender has donned over the years, the Anglepoise Type 75 Floor Lamp Paul Smith Edition Four adds a touch of character to your home.
In this distinct edition, British farmland colours dominate: deep earthy burgundy, leaden grey, sky blue, dappled green and rich clay, with a touch of fluorescent yellow adding an element of surprise. Ideally utilised in a living room, office space or hallway, the Type 75 Floor Lamp features an innovative spring mechanism, iconic to Anglepoise, that can cater the light to the user’s desired position.
Originally a draughtsman in an architect’s office and briefly an exhibition designer, Sir Kenneth Grange's career took off when Kodak asked him to design their Instamatic camera. Many of his designs have become familiar items, such as his food mixers for Kenwood, razors for Wilkinson Sword, pens for Parker and British Rail’s InterCity 125.
Sir Kenneth Grange became design director at the iconic British designer lighting brand Anglepoise in 2003. His first Anglepoise lamp was the Type 3™ desk lamp, which was launched in 2003. Grange has since gone on to design the Anglepoise Type 75 and Type 1228 collections.
