Inspired by a set of gifts the Finnish delegation brought to Japan in 1919 to inaugurate Finnish-Japanese diplomatic relations, Finnish design studio COMPAY wanted to create a unique collection of ornaments that celebrated this friendship.
Inspired by the Finnish tradition of girls dressing up as ‘Lucia’ and taking part in a candlelit procession through the streets, proclaiming the victory of hope and love over despair, the candleholder represents how light triumphs over darkness. An elegant support for three long candles, the design is perfect for acting as a centrepiece on a dining table. View the full Secrets of Finland Collection here.
