Designed by KaschKasch and inspired by the twisted tubing around historical street signs, the Marselis table lamp is characterised by a delicate balance of functionality and aesthetics, resulting in an innovative modular design with a timeless quality.
This refined table lamp consists of an arched silhouette crafted from die-cast aluminium and robust steel. The soft light source is implemented from an adjustable tilting disc paired with a three-step dimmable switch found on the back, enabling the user to formulate their preferred atmosphere of directional light. Available in soft black or ash grey, the light’s practical yet versatile design is suitable for residential and corporate environments. In addition to the Marselis table lamp, a matching floor lamp is also available as part of the series.
Kaschkasch was established in 2011 by designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider.
They share a background that combines both hands-on and academic education: both trained as cabinet makers followed by studies in product design. This versatility informs everything Kaschkasch does.
