Departing from the more structured silhouettes found across Knoll’s range, Willo Perron’s striking design is composed of fluid, soft elements that contract with the architectural elegance of the brand’s other pieces. Standing in contradiction to the work of Eero Saarinen or Mies Van Der Rohe, Perron’s relaxed style brings a sense of harmonious synergy to your home.
Effortlessly blending the contemporary and the traditional, Perron has created an adaptable modular sofa collection that is designed to become an enduring part of your home. The design can be expanded with the addition of extra modules, growing and changing with you as you move from space to space.
Montreal-born Willo Perron is recognised worldwide for his groundbreaking work as a creative director and designer.
Starting out printing flyers and promoting shows from his record shop, his big break came when he headed the design of American Apparel’s iconic minimalist look. Now at the head of his own company, Willo Perron and Associates, along with a multi-disciplinary studio Perron-Roettinger, he has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion and design, including Adidas and Stussy. His design work is highly influenced by that of the Bauhaus movement, approaching a project from a total art perspective. This is evident in the sense of scale and simplicity of forms seen in his pieces.
