The basis for a wide-ranging modular storage furniture series, the Montana Mini Module 1001 is available in the brand’s trademark group of ten colourways, and sits perfectly alongside the rest of the pieces in the family. A user can add further units to their setting as and when a situation calls for it.
This particular configuration features an open compartment, allowing for the free storage of a variety of objects. Beautifully made from long-lasting MDF, longevity is at the forefront of Montana’s approach to design, with each unit afforded a ten-year guarantee, and the series certified by Ecolabel.
Peter J. Lassen is a Danish designer who, in 1982, founded Montana Furniture.
Following a career in the Navy, Lassen would join the furniture industry via a role at Fritz Hansen, where he would eventually become CEO. Following his dismissal from Fritz Hansen, where his modern ideas were deemed too progressive in the late 1970s, Lassen formed Montana around an innovative 60x60 shelving unit concept, which would go on to form the basis for the company at large. Lassen was one of the most celebrated personalities in the Danish furniture industry until his death in 2019.
