Stepping away from the familiar into a new medium, artist and designer Claudia Valsells has expertly translated her understanding of colour, perspective and composition from paint into wool. Born in 1969, Claudia Valsells began her career as a mural painter.
Studying her craft at the Brussels-based Institute Superior de Peinture Van Der Helen et Logelain, Valsells’ style began to evolve. Revelling in the use of colour as a vehicle of expression and visual experience, she worked as an artist and colourist before exploring the fields of both architecture and interior design.
