With clean lines and an elegant silhouette, the Tana Wall Mounted Nightstand is an expression of Rikke Rutzou Arnved’s beautiful take on contemporary Scandinavian minimalism. The use of a perfect right angle creates a functional surface for placing objects or bedside lighting. Arnved’s design puts the rich texture of natural wood centre stage, using the organic pattern to create an object that radiates calm and solidity.
Concealed within the profile of the nightstand is a hidden drawer, opened by a handle concealed within the bulk of the frame.
Danish architect and designer Rikke Rutzou Arnved graduated from Copenhagen’s esteemed Royal Academy in 2001. She went on to establish her own studio while also lecturing at the Danish Technical University.
Working primarily in the fields of furniture, lighting and interior design, he has demonstrated her exceptional passion and skill. Arnved has most recently collaborated with New Works.
