Materials & finishes
The sideboard’s interior and exterior are of MDF fiberboards with walnut wood veneer. Each module includes an internal tempered glass shelf fixed in the middle, with a matt Marquina Marble top and totems, walnut solid wood doors and wavy tempered glass. Features totem feet with integrated adjustable mechanisms and hinged doors without handles with 105-degree opening with hidden hinges. Fully assembled.

Please note: No two pieces of marble or wood are alike. Both are beautiful, natural materials with intricate markings and variations. The colour, shade and pattern on your product may slightly differ from what is shown on the website, adding a unique appeal to each design.

Story

Featuring a beautifully worked marble tabletop and a series of walnut cabinets, the Rio Sideboard is a real statement piece. The four generously proportioned cupboards offer ample storage, while the premium nature of the materials employed in its construction ensures that the Rio sits at the height of luxury.

A more compact, three-door version is also available.

Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner established his own studio in 2006 and has since then been involved in freelance projects for various companies and institutes.

Alongside the design of exhibitions and trade fair presentations his focus is on designing everyday objects. He is influenced by his observations of people and their actions.
