Serving as both a tray or platter, the Edge plate series is a collection of aesthetically pleasing receptacles based on Nordic simplicity and durability using honest materials. Allowing for easy transferability of drinks and food to an outside area, brass is famed for its hardness, strength and reflective appearance, bouncing shadow and light off of anything placed upon its surface. Available in three sizes and preferably utilised for storing decorative objects and accessories, the Edge plates are easily stackable and perfect for use in combination with the terracotta Edge pottery series.
The Danish design duo Stilleben (formed by Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft) have designed products for internationally recognised design brands such as Georg Jensen, Skagerak and Kähler. As store owners and designers they see it as their first job to constantly create new stories that reflect the time we live in.
Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft are both educated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in glass and ceramics.
