First conceived in 1968, Poul Kjaerholm worked with the idea of creating a series of tables that could be integrated and combined with a wider collection of furniture and upholstery. Scaled in a variety of sizes and styles, the iconic PK table series can be effortlessly integrated into an array of classic and contemporary interiors.
With Kjaerholm’s strong interest in construction materials, especially steel, the PK62™ embodies a recognizable industrial aesthetic. A union of granite or marble and satin-brushed stainless steel, forge a combination ideal for a minimalist environment. Display next to the PK31™ Three-Seater or Lounge Chair.
Poul Kjaerholm was a trained carpenter and continued his studies at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. He had a particular interest in different construction materials; especially steel which he considered a natural material with the same artistic fineness as other natural materials.
