A place to have a seat while allowing the impressions to sink in, the Vent has now been developed into a two-seater bench with the same minimalist expression, the same strong craftsmanship and the same sculptural features as the original Vent Stool.
The woven seat is made in Denmark in collaboration with ‘Blindes Arbejde’, a sheltered workshop for people who are blind or partially sighted. Place the bench in a hallway, living room or bedroom; wherever it is used it will provide a useful temporary seating solution.
With a Swedish mother and Danish father Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm shows her Nordic roots in her designs through a minimalistic approach and strong combinations of materials like wood, leather and wool. Function is her starting point and dictates the idiom of her beautiful designs.
