Available in three distinctive finishes, with each placing the eponymous ‘Colour’ front and centre, the Colour Frame Mirror serves as a wonderfully realised celebration of the many different ways in which different tones and hues can elevate an otherwise fairly traditional object. A simple ash wood frame forms the basis of Richoz’s mirror, with the deep-set nature of the piece allowing for ornaments to sit within the interior. The mirror can be hung both horizontally and vertically.
A small-sized version and larger edition are also available.
Swiss-French designer Julie Richoz set up her design studio in Paris, where she enjoys developing her own design language through objects.
Her practice ranges from object, furniture, lighting and textile, for companies such as Alessi, Louis Poulsen, HAY, Tectona and Louis Vuitton.
