“Tables are where people exchange ideas, express emotions and connect with each other,” explains Spanish designer Jaime Hayon. “As a multi-purpose object, why not design a multi-tiered table where different sizes, shapes, colours and materials converge together?". Featuring a structure of three distinctive shapes, crafted from different materials, the pieces unite as one to produce a versatile, modern coffee table. The various heights create unique platforms where you can rest and store an array of objects and decorative accessories, ideal for a living room space. Part of the &Tradition Palette series.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
