Taking its name from, ‘Seta’, the Spanish word for mushroom, the lamp’s distinctive structure creates a petite light source that can be perfectly positioned all over the home. Unburdened by an electrical cord, the portable piece can seamlessly move from room to room, providing inviting, ambient light.
Available in a range of beautifully matched colourways, with a sophisticated brass dimmer, the Setago adds a touch of subtle elegance to any environment.
Spanish artist and industrial designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974.
In 1997, he began working as a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication and research centre in Treviso, Italy. 2004 saw the start of Hayon’s individual career and he has kept himself busy with a spectrum of eclectic projects. From toys, to modern furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been to transcend the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, comfortably bridging the two whilst embedding them with his own unique style.
