In its own laid-back manner, the Embrace Lounge Chair exudes the same inviting air as the Embrace Chair, the floating expression emphasizing the link between the two designs. The wooden frame EOOS has created for the series is characterized by the lightness, craftsmanship and quality that reflect Carl Hansen & Søn's unique DNA. The chair frame is crafted from wood and visible from all angles. The curved back is formed from three pieces of wood connected by classic finger joints.
Established in Vienna in 1995, this Austrian design collaborative study historical roots in a contemporary context using a unique process called Poetical Analysis to create works. Their method focuses on myths, rituals and intuitive expressions, to create connections that extend beyond initial perceptions. Consisting of Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann, and Harald Gründl, EOOS has worked with well-known brands such as Carl Hansen and have won over 130 international awards.
