With its generous size and sleek finish, the Flos Ceramique Table Lamp takes centre stage as a unique lighting solution that is sure to turn heads. Designed by Ronan Bouroullec, the Ceramique results from vigorous research and refinement, creating a table lamp that looks like no other.
Crafted entirely from smooth, lead-free glazed ceramic in a range of distinct colourways, the lamp also boasts a range of variations, with three shade positioning choices: downward, upward and outward. Each variation has its own uses and unique lighting effects, with the outward lamp acting as an all-purpose directional light, the downward lamp serving as an ideal reading light or bedside table lamp, and the upward version serving its purpose as an ambient floor or table lamp, creating a soft diffused glow that hugs the walls and surrounds the room.
The elder of the Bouroullec brothers, Ronan’s work has helped define a generation of industrial designers, with a truly astounding body of work that spans multiple disciplines.
From small objects to vast spatial arrangements and architectural projects, Ronan Bouroullec’s work is defined by his thoughtful and disciplined approach to design. In 1997, the brothers received their first commission from the legendary Cappellini, and have worked with international design icons like Artek, Established & Sons, Flos, HAY, Magis, Mattiazzi, nanimarquina, and Vitra.
