The design combines a custom made, belt-like electrical cable with an aluminium ring with an incorporated LED strip, resulting in a lightweight, easily mounted wall light. The WireRing emits an ambient, dimmable light thanks to the included footswitch, allowing for you to easily transform the light from a subtle glow to a dynamic sculptural display.
Studio Formafantasma was founded by Amsterdam based Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin. Graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in July 2009, Formafantasma has developed a coherent body of design work.
Studio Formafantasma has worked with a variety of international design partners including Fendi, Hermès, Droog, Nodus rug, Established & Sons, Lexus, Krizia International and Flos.
